World Cup 2026 Group D Results: All Three Matchdays

USA 4-1 Paraguay (June 12). An early Damian Bobadilla own goal set the tone before Folarin Balogun struck twice and Giovanni Reyna curled in a stoppage-time fourth at SoFi Stadium.

Australia 2-0 Turkey (June 13). Nestory Irankunda and Connor Metcalfe scored in Vancouver, and goalkeeper Patrick Beach made eight saves to stun the dark horses.

USA 2-0 Australia (June 19). A Cameron Burgess own goal and an Alex Freeman header before half-time in Seattle sent the USA into the knockout rounds with a game to spare.

Paraguay 1-0 Turkey (June 19). Matias Galarza scored after 64 seconds and Paraguay held on despite Miguel Almiron’s red card, the first dismissal of the tournament, to eliminate Turkey.

Turkey 3-2 USA (June 25). Auston Trusty and Sebastian Berhalter scored for a rotated USA, but Arda Guler, Orkun Kokcu and Kaan Ayhan’s 98th-minute winner gave Turkey a dramatic consolation. The USA still won the group.

Paraguay 0-0 Australia (June 25). A tense goalless draw in Santa Clara sent Australia through in second on goal difference and left Paraguay third, though they advanced as a best third-placed team.
